CVVA Middle School Internet Cafe
CVVA continues to be a premier cyber school program, providing a first-class education for students in grades K-12. CV is excited to announce a new opportunity for secondary CVVA students — an Internet Café is now located at Gerald G. Huesken Middle School.
The CVVA MS Internet Café is an environment that is warm and welcoming. It is where students in grades 7-8 can work on their virtual courses independently or with the help of CV teachers. The café has several unique features that set it apart from the traditional middle school setting. It is fully staffed with a full-time instructional aide and has a different faculty member available each period throughout the day, and is conveniently located in room 220. The café has high top tables, flexible seating options, collaborative work areas and most importantly, seating to work independently.
CVVA students can come to the café on any day and time during the traditional school day. CVVA students can bring their own food and drinks to the café. The café also provides coffee, hot chocolate, tea, water and other refreshments. If you’d would like more information, please don’t hesitate to contact Mrs. Mercier, the secondary CVVA Advisor. If students prefer to work at home under the guidance of parents/guardians, that is still the primary option of CVVA. The main purpose of the café is to provide CVVA students the best of both worlds.
Customer Support and Technical Issues
Each CVVA student is given a district laptop and printer/scanner to use while in the program. On occasion, technical issues may arise. If that happens the parent can contact the Conestoga Valley School District Tech department directly. Most times they can resolve the issue by remotely connecting to the student’s computer from the Tech Department Office. For help:
